Photo Blogging May be the Pinnacle of Modern

Posted in General    |    No Comments

Technology

Many people feel that photo blogging is the most
exciting kind of blogging that exists. Building and
maintaining a photo blog is no more difficult than
creating and updating a text-based blog, and many
people feel that the internet’s high speed, full-color
technology reaches the pinnacle of its appeal with the
transmission of images. Posting photographs in a blog
format on a daily, weekly, or occasional basis is a great
way to express yourself while reaching viewers in an
emotionally charged and aesthetically engaging way,
and surfing photo blogs can help you to get a whole
new perspective on the world in which we live.

Many people who run image blogs are photographers by
trade, but photo blogging is also very popular among
hobbyists and amateur shutterbugs. To be certain, a lot
of the most popular photo blogs have gained attention
because the pictures on them are of the highest artistic
caliber, and a lot of the people who run these striking
blogs are graduates of prestigious art schools and have
impressive professional portfolios. However, some of
the most well known and most often visited photo blogs
are as notable for their concepts as for the pictures
themselves. Certain photo blogs, like the popular “Cute
Overload” which features picture after picture of
adorable animals, are more about the thematic content
of the pictures than they are about the style in which the
snapshots are taken.

The fact that photo blogs range from forums to display
the work of highly skilled artisans to playful collections
of curiosities shows that photo blogging is a truly
diverse form. The fact that photo blogs are so easy to
build and to update makes this kind of visual
communication very democratic, and enables people at
all skill levels to become a part of the global
conversation about the nature and value of photography
today.

Whether you are an artist or hobbyist who wants to
create a photo blog, or whether you are just somebody
who enjoys learning about new places and things,
spending some time looking at the most popular
photography blogs on the internet can be a very
rewarding endeavor. You can travel to another place or
another time by seeing pictures of faraway locations and
long-gone eras. You can see your own neighborhood
with fresh eyes by discover how local artists have
photographed the town or city in which you live. Photo
blogging allows people to communicate all of these
things and more, which makes it a very exciting part of
the modern blogosphere. If the best thing about web
technology is that it allows people to reach each other in
a very personal way from across great distances, then in
many ways photo blogs are the most successful kind of
web sites.

Personal Blogging, Documentary, and History

Posted in General    |    No Comments

When it comes to personal blogging, documentary is
the default genre. There are plenty of blogs that serve
other functions, but many blogs are primarily catalogues
of the life experiences of their author. Although there
are quite a few blogs that focus on collecting poetry and
other forms of creative writing, the vast majority of
personal blogs are in some sense documentaries.

For many years, the act of making a documentary was
meant to be an objective act of reporting the sights and
sounds that the filmmaker, writer, or photographer
encountered. However, in contemporary times there has
been a movement towards embracing the subjectivity
inherent in the documentary form. This means that
modern documentaries often reflect the distinctive
voice and sensibility of their creator, and the fact that
todays documentaries often revolve around personality
blurs the lines between documentary and memoir. Blogs
rest somewhere between these two genres, muddying
the distinctions even further. Personal blogging,
documentary, and memoir are now irrevocably
intertwined, for better or for worse.

Although few bloggers think of themselves as making
documentaries in any formal sense, every time
somebody sits down in front of a computer and types up
a record of their day, they are documenting their own
historical moment. The things that we take for granted
about our daily lives, like the way that we use specific
modes of transportation, or the kinds of products that
we buy, often seem quite fascinating to people who live
in circumstances different from ours, and it is this kind
of fascination that is at the heart of many documentary
projects. When people think about blogging,
documentary is not very likely to be the first adjective
that crosses their minds, but a few decades down the
road it is very likely that todays blogs will be seen
primarily as very subjective documentaries of our era.
The people of tomorrow will almost certainly look to
the blogs of today for insight into our historical
moment.

When it comes to blogging, documentary may not be
the aim of most people who spend their time posting
their thoughts and ideas on the internet. In some ways,
the documentary aspect of blogging is more of a side
effect than a primary goal. However, the fact that so
many people are interested in publishing these public
online diaries shows that personal blogs are about more
than just rumination. The fact that bloggers are so
stimulated by and interested in sharing their ideas with
each other reinforces the idea that personal blogs are, in
some ways, documentaries meant for public
consumption. Documentaries appeal to people who are
curious about other ways of life, and many people who
regularly read others personal blogs are looking for this
same kind of new perspective.

SEO Copywriting Services

Posted in General    |    1 Comments

Within this article today, we will look at SEO copywriting services from a couple of different perspectives. Within the first half of this article, we’ll help you look at good SEO copywriting services and we will use the second half of this article to show you how to develop good SEO copywriting services.

If you are looking for an SEO copywriting services company, there are many to choose from on the Internet today. When you are looking for an expert within this field, do not take the first company that you come across. You want to ask certain questions to make sure that his company knows what it is doing and that it has been successful at developing high ranking websites in the past. You want to ask the company how long it has been around and what particular niches it has focused on. You want to make sure that this SEO copywriting service company can understand your niche so that it can write effectively for both the search bots as well as the people searching for your product or service. You want to ask for testimonials from a couple of previous clients of the SEO copywriting services company. Take your time to search the Internet for a couple of different companies that you would like to work with and then compare prices and services of the companies you like. By doing a comparison as well as checking up on the company for its reputation and pass service, you will be putting yourself in a good position to work with a company that knows what it is doing.

That part of the article focused on how to look for a SEO copywriting services company. Within the remainder of this article, we will look at ways that you can work to create your own SEO copywriting services company. This is a very crowded field with many players today so you must make sure that you do something to set yourself apart. You could be the best SEO copywriter out there but if you do nothing to set yourself apart no one will know the difference. It may help to focus upon a particular niche where you know that you can write very effectively and with a strong background. This can be a competitive advantage that you use to market your firm so that companies feel comfortable coming to you. If you have done little SEO work in the past and are interested in this field due to a passion for the Internet and experience in copywriting, take the time to build a couple websites for yourself. You can use these as training modules so that when you land a client, you will have some experience from which you can draw on.

Whether you are looking for an SEO copywriting services company or looking to start your own, they key is to make sure that you know how to separate the good from the bad. Hopefully this article on SEO copywriting services has helped give you some ideas based upon which perspective you are looking into his article at. The key is to go out and do your research so that you can benefit from the SEO industry as a whole.

Five Keys to lasting success with a homebased business.

Posted in Business    |    3 Comments

There are many people out there that will tell you all sorts of things on this topic of the keys to success. Some would even claim that you may not have everything you need right there with you before you begin. That you needed to have their amazing product that will put a squillion dollars in your pocket overnight simply because they have the Midas touch and that because you are affiliated with them you are going to have instant success.

To a lot of people I am an enigma, I am almost unexplainable. I have certainly had my share of success and also of ‘failures’ if you want to call it that, I prefer to call them valuable lessons. Yet I keep getting up and going back for more, not because I am a glutton for punishment, because I wish to be at cause for the things that happen in my life.

It is very easy to sit aside and put things outside your control and blame someone else for the pitiful existence you are living (when of course you are living one). You see that is easy, what’s not so easy for most people is to sit there and take the criticism and constant taunts from people who are, frankly, to damn scared to BE anything. I get this a lot. I get taunts from people, I get the constant, 'you’ll never be anything', 'you have no morals, no ethics', I say let my actions speak for themselves. The truth is I have ALWAYS tried to the right thing by people.  People have not always done the right thing by me. I am a pretty trusting sort of person, and I take people at their word. Sometimes people exploit that. Now is this my responsibility? You can bet your a$$ it is my responsibility. Therefore I have the power to do something about it.

So here I am, I want to share with you some of the things that I have learned, and I am not going to ask for any money for the information, I am not going to ask you to opt-in to any news letters or sell you the next big thing. I am just going to share with you some fundamental keys to success that work, and also the ones to avoid!

1. Research Your Company; (your own research, not hearsay)

That sounds simple right? Well most people research the wrong thing. You see it doesn’t matter who is involved in an opportunity, it doesn’t matter what Joe Bloggs has written about it on the Internet (the Internet is the world’s largest unregulated forum, people can say anything with total anonymity). What is important is, does the company in question adhere to and abide by all regulatory authorities? Does the company have longevity? Meaning, are they positioned to take advantage of market trends. Does the Company have a strong vision and a focused leadership team that will enable them to carry on into the future?

2. Do it for the Right Reasons;

Again this may sound simple.......... right now if you are saying to yourself, of course the right reason, well if your reason is simply money....... It’s the WRONG Reason. WHAT does the money do for you, why are you looking for the money, this is your reason. To clarify, unless you know exactly what the money is for, then sure you may earn it, and lots of it, however trust me, it WILL leave you if it is not for the right reasons. So it helps if you love the opportunity you are involved with. I love helping people, so here I am.

3. Have a Laser Focus;

So here we go again, heard it all before. I can’t stress this enough, be focused, know what your outcome is for any given opportunity. Be single mindedness of purpose. Write out what you are going to accomplish for the week, if this seems daunting, GOOD you are already making progress. You should continually stretch your boundaries (as Einstein said, we are limited by the boundary conditions of our thinking)

4. Formulate Action Steps;

An idea or opportunity without action is like fly without wings......... it just isn’t going to fly. Once you have your week mapped out, figure out how you can achieve it, that doesn’t include sitting on Facebook or other social media sites (I have been guilty of this... It happens). With your actions steps, reward yourself when you complete them, this will keep you interested in doing what you are doing.

5. Have Fun;

This is THE most important one, if you are not having fun in your opportunity then get the heck out of it, now I don’t mean if you are having a bad day and cannot for the life of you figure something out, no I mean if week after week, month after month, you feel like you are banging your head against the wall. LEAVE, do something else.

Ok so there are five keys to lasting success, there are more, however this article would end up a novel, and not useful, which is its intent.

So now, here is something NOT to do, don’t EVER take someone’s word for the figures or projections for a Company or Business, always do your own homework, no matter how trust worthy you think the person in question is. That was one of my failures.

Let me wrap this up by saying this, recently I was on Facebook and I read a status update that said something along the lines of this... “it’s not your fault that 97% of people fail in MLM or homebased business’s, I have the secret that will help you succeed”, sure I am paraphrasing a little.

Here is the truth, if some system or business opportunity (that seems to be working for everyone else) is not working for you... I am sorry it IS your fault, you are the only variable. People preaching this other crap are just trying to take your money. If something is not working, try it a different way. If it is still not working... Try it a different way. You are only kidding yourself jumping from Opportunity to opportunity hoping for something better. Most opportunities out there have merit and people are making money with, if you are not... the opportunity is NOT the issue.

Stop placing the responsibility outside yourself and take control, you really are that powerful, ‘Step into Your Power’
