Beautiful People, Victims and Control Freaks

Hi there,

So its 1130 at night and I am here at the screen of my Mac. You know when you are lying in bed and there is something that comes to your head and you just have to get it out there...? Well this is one of those times, and the funny thing is it was really only the title that came to me, but something said I had to get up and write it.

I my life I have had the pleasure of meeting some of the most amazing people, and I guess that is what this is about, it is about giving thanks to that fact. To give thanks to all of the people that have touched my life in someway. I have learned something from everyone I have ever met and for that I am truly thankful.

Not too long ago I was involved with a home business a home business that is now defunct, which is sad and a good thing all at the same time, it is sad due to the fact that I believe it was built on solid principles and somewhere along the way they got lost and the company ultimately failed, one director was sent on a hiatus due to extra marital affairs while the other secretly coveted the the power of the whole company as his own, and ultimately had an affair himself.
The good part about that company was the beautiful people that have come into my life because of it and the impact that they have left on me.

I was lucky enough to have spoke to two such people today. So let me tell you about one of them.

The first conversation I had was a wonderful surprise, my skype went out of the blue from someone that I had not spoken to in over 6 months, and it was like we spoke just yesterday. This is someone who had put her faith in a company, not because she believed in that company, but because she believed in herself, and knew that with enough searching the right path would be shown to her, and what do you know, low and behold it has been.k This person had a vision board with a goal on it, a goal that most average people would think to lofty to consider. Upon review of this vision board some two years later the goal has been achieved. Was it easy? I would think not, there were hard times where she would have questioned herself as to whether or not she was doing the right thing, she would have had friends and family telling her that she was mad, and when would she come back down to earth, she would go through a life threatening situation only to pull through the other side to see a business with so much promise fail. Yet here she now stands with her goal reached and life exactly where it was meant to be. Why? Because when adversity stared her in the face she said NO I am NOT giving up, I DESERVE ALL OF MY GOALS AND MORE.

She is one of the beautiful people that I am proud to call a friend, you know, the ones who don't care if you have $20, or $20,000,000, you are still just their mate.

Victims

So the second part, you know in any good plot there is an protagonist and an antagonist, you know the good guy and the bad guy. Well you see there are these people in real life too. You can recognise the antagonist by the language they use, things like 'Its not fair, the water company is charging me too mcuh for my water' or 'Why can't I get a high paying job that I don't have to work for' or 'The government doesn't provide me with enough money each week'. You know what, I am going to say it here and now, why because I can, this is my blog my little piece of online real estate, GROW UP GET A FREAKING LIFE, stop bitching and start living, stop thinking you are entitled to something for nothing and get off your fat ass and stop being a victim! There is a thought!

Control Freaks

Ok so the last one here, and then I am off to sleep, control freaks.... I firmly believe that we all control our own destiny... so lets see where this rabbit goes, the thought obviously came from somewhere.

So if I think that we are in control of our own lives who am I referring to when I say control freaks? I guess it is the people who want you to live by their rules and then get shitty when you don't They are all paly paly until you do something different to the doctrine that they have set out and they you don't hear from them, well at least not until they need something from you and then wham! They are there, asking you once again to conform to their rules. You know I said it my post yesterday that I have had the most clarity when I realised once again that I am so powerful, sure people have tried to help me see that before, even the control freaks... yet it means nothing until you take ownership of it yourself.

So there it is a short little rant, and a MASSIVE Thank you to my beautiful friends, you all know who you are, thank you and NAMASTE

GOOMG, WTF have I been?

Hey Guys Andrew Hawkes here and from the looks of the cobwebs around the place here it is easy to see that this little piece of online real estate has been neglected for a little while.

Far out, "its been 5 months since my last confession!"

That is really how I feel, you know when you feel bad because you said you would do something and you didn't and you let someone down? That is kinda how I feel right now....

But not really, because the leave of absence has been well worth it. Its funny I have been thinking that I needed to get back here and let people know what it is that I am up too, and a post from a good friend of mine spurred me into doing just that,  Natale Louise wrote in 'The Hiatus That Changed Everything for Me'

Don’t get me wrong I have been working on many things in the background here, mainly on myself, no products but many ideas for how I want to take my brand forward online.

And that has most certainly been the case with me, so where the heck has Andrew Hawkes been?

Well those of you who know me will know that I pretty much willing to try my hand at everything, and if you read many of the post on this Weblog you will be able to find out exactly what I am talking about.

I have to say that the last three years have been the hardest for me financially of my life, and of course you can read more about that in my series Andrew Hawkes Gets Frank. Being the person that I am I understand that everything happens for a higher purpose and there is a lesson in most everything that happens in our lives, given that and the reflection over that time it came to me.

"There is obviously a lesson I am missing, what the hell is it?"

I traced my fortunes back to the first time I started making A LOT of money (not that this is the main factor here, the lesson is bigger than that) and then I looked at what it was that I was doing differently then to what I am doing now. There was ONE thing that was BLINDINGLY obvious... Well at least it was when I started LOOKING for it. Now we could go into a whole discussion about quantum physics and meta physics here, however that is not the topic, so we will leave that for another day.

In a car, when it breaks down, there is generally a cause, and you must do a fault diagnosis to determine what that fault is and rectify it, in other words when something was working, and now it seemingly is not, then you must trace back to where it was and stopped to determine what is wrong.

So I did a little 'fault finding' on my life, (NOTE I was not looking for faults, I was looking for when it was last working the way I wanted it too.)

OK So here is a list of things I was doing when I was making money;

  • Reading, good quality books for the mind
  • engaging people and looking for ways to help them
  • looking inside myself for answers
  • relying on ME

All of those things (and that really is just a snippet) allowed me to BE that person who would have great results and achieve the level of income I desired.

Now compare that to what I had been doing for the last two years;

  • Sitting on the Couch watching TV
  • Staying at home and meeting NO one
  • Looking outside for assistance of others to pick me up
  • Forgetting that I am so Powerful

You can see that there is a striking difference.

I finally realised that pushing products that I didn't really 'get' or was otherwise not emotionally involved with, or more to the point reliing on other people to 'Get it too' before I got paid was not serving me at all, I realised that after all of the personal development trainings and the things that I had done that I wasn't at all being true to what I wanted in life, and that was to be of service and to build a solid company with products that people are using everyday and that people are really looking for.

So since rediscovering this, I have made massive inroads to what is fast becoming a viable and profitable business, and I have never been happier feel free to check out the products and services on offer at Goin On Group's company website

So really that is it, this is where I am at, 2011 is alreday huge and it is only getting bigger, I love life, I love my family, and in just over 8 weeks I am going to be a father all over again. It doesn't get much better.

Your Internal Power

There are many ways in which you can make money and prosper, there are many ways in which you can learn. The key however in all of them is to keep moving forward.

It has been a couple of weeks since I posted, and to be honest I have missed it... that being said I am super excited about what I have been doing during that time. I have put together a members site where I have expanded on the Bare Knuckle Basics report to bring you even more information and understandings.

That is not what today's post is about though. No today's post is all about you, and how to get to the are that is known as "What You don't know, You don't know!" This is an extract from my monthly news Letter Power Up Monthly, I felt it was too important not to share with everyone. enjoy.

Personal Acceptance and How it Effects Your Outcome

Hey all Andrew Hawkes here,

trust this will all find you safe and well. I want to share with you my thoughts on acceptance and the effects I believe it has on people.

I was watching an excerpt from a conference where I well known Success Coach was speaking of Happiness, now you might be forgiven for thinking that this well known success coach was tall with big teeth... however this was a different success coach.

He spoke of celebrities that had passed while trying to find that happiness. And how ultimately they died unhappy.

I was thinking about that, and I was thinking about my life... was it where I wanted it to be? Was I truly fulfilling my life's purpose? It caused me to question was I absolutely happy? You know Buddha said; "There is no way to happiness, happiness is the way" So what was it that caused me to look deeper?

I mean I am a happy guy, I have a loving family who want nothing but my success and happiness (what ever success means) I always endeavor to find the good in any situation. I have had many great teachers over the years, and one of the most profound lessons I have had was simply to be able to laugh at myself and not provide a negative emotion when it comes to silly little mistakes I have made. This ONE teaching has saved many great hardships. You see when you add raw emotion to an event you are applying some of the hardest setting concrete in the history of mankind! So if you are beating yourself up... well enough said I think.

What does this have to do with personal acceptance? Well hang in with me and lets see. When you look at society what is it that you see? Given the forum we are in here I will provide a couple of observations (at least this are my observations.)

As a whole people look for acceptance from people; for their achievements, their actions, their results. This is only natural and it ties in with the six basic human needs. And it really could fall into a number of them. What I have found, and again this is purely my observations (and my experience within my own life) is that we tend to look for acceptance from others as it is easier to that than it is to be responsible for ourselves. It stems from a lack of confidence in our own abilities. Now this maybe something inherent that has come from generation to generation, or it maybe due to someone being picked on in schools, or in the work place. The constant taunts about never amounting to anything, that a person is useless good for nothing. Any number of reasons. It may have been totally indirect;

e.g. A child hears their parents arguing, one parent calls the other hopeless, good for nothing, looser (what ever tag you want to put in here). They hear this often, every other week this same argument takes place. One day the child does something wrong while the parent that usually does the name calling is at their wits end, and although the parent does not hurl the same abusive language at the child, they tell the child that they are just like the other parent. (Perhaps you have witnessed or even experienced this yourself?)

What just happened here? After years and years of hearing that one parent is basically a looser, they child is now told that they are just like them... Hmm... Interesting right?

OK so back to acceptance, more importantly personal acceptance. Have you ever noticed that successful people really don't give to much weight to what other people are saying, they are not necessarily swayed by public opinion? There is a reason for this. They accept themselves for who they are. They are not trying to play a part, they are not trying to please everyone. They are who they are and have a great personal acceptance.

From this you could say that all it takes to be a success is to love yourself first. Accept yourself for who you are, don't be so hard on yourself, we are after all our own worst critics. And you know what, you are probably not wrong. I mean that the end of the day, surely if you have a great personal acceptance then you are already a winner right?

I say could say that is all it takes, as if you are striving for more then it is really the first step. However it it THE MOST IMPORTANT ONE, with out getting this step straight you are going to go no where FAST, sure you may make some money... however I can almost guarantee that you lose it all and MORE.

You want success? You want wealth and happiness? Fall in love with the person looking at you in the mirror daily, accept them, and understand that that person that looks at you has all the acceptance needed for your life's journey.

Bare Knuckle Basics

Hey guys Andrew Hawkes here,

Bare Knuckle Basics Its been a while since I started working from home and internet marketing and in that time I have had a massive learning curve, you know I didn't hit it out of the park with my first attempt, and by the time I started getting my head around Google they went a changed the rules and what I had learned to that point was almost for nothing. I say almost as there were lessons taken from that which have certainly allowed me to prosper and grow. Which is very important.

You know when you talk to people about what working from home is about, when you ask them what it means to them, (asking a few people) you will get a variety of answers. Now I am not talking about the outcome of what it a Homebased Business will do for them, I am talking about what type of business they're involved with. Some will tell you it is about making sure you are talking to 150 people a day, others will say it is about ranking #1 on Google, and even more (growing daily) will tell you that it is about mastering Social media... You know what? From my observations all of these people are correct. Yet you will find home business guru's out there who to their credit have made a lot of money who tell you that there is only one of those elements is really needed. And that is to talk to people each and every day... now, I don't necessarily disagree with that sentiment. However if your focus is on internet marketing then talking to prospects every day may well be a waste of your time.

Of course if your focus us purely network marketing or mlm then yes you absolutely MUST talk to people daily to succeed. I'll be honest, I have no trouble talking to people, that doesn't bother me in the slightest... lets face it though people turn to an online business so they don't have to talk to people right? Well at least not in person. Something that I have certainly found is that when you do actually have money coming in, and not just talking about it it is far easier to actually talk to people. It is easier (albeit a psychological reason) to get people to talk to. As your business evolves you will most certainly start to understand your strengths and begin to work with them rather than trying (in vane) to fight or force against them.

Anyway I am getting a little of topic here... I was merely highlighting the fact that not all homebased business's are created equally, and regardless of the money that you are making if it doesn't feel quite right then change and do something that does!

Working from home has allowed me to really connect with who I am as a person, it has given me the opportunity to gain some great clarity as to what my purpose is. As such I am involved with a couple of different organizations all of which enable me to fulfill that purpose and vision for my life. Along my journey there have been a number of facets that I have learned that have enabled me to do things that I really enjoy and I and benefit monetarily from... so you could say my time investment in my education is starting to pay off.

Some of the things that I have discovered is that there are a lot of successful marketers out there that are missing some of the basic fundamentals, the Bare Knuckle Basics as I like to say. So I put it all in a report and what do you think I called it? That's right Bare Knuckle Basics. Now I am not claiming to be a guru or anything like that... far from it there is still much more to learn. I know what I know,  All the report is are some basic stuff that I believe can certainly help you move forward.... its free and useful information... they way I think it should be, and with your feedback I can continue to improve what is in that and subsequent reports.

Inception… Real Life or Fantasy?

Hey there Andrew Hawkes here,

hope this finds you well with enough food to keep you from being hungry and enough love in your life to keep you sane.

Inception fact or fiction?I went out with my beautiful wife last Friday night, her mother came and looked after the children and we went out for dinner and then to the movies. It has been a while since we got out like this by ourselves and it was an enjoyable evening.

Since it had been a while since we had gone to the movies there was quite a variety to choose from. We had a debate and the clear cut winner was Inception with Leonardo DiCaprio as the lead. Of course with any new release you get mixed reports as to what it was like... understanding that everything is subjective I pretty much keep and open mind when going to see something so that I can make my own mind up (ironic considering the movie). So I guess I will start by saying this... I thoroughly enjoyed it. There were, from what I saw a couple of minor discrepancies with the actually physics of some of the sequences yet all and all it was a ripper of a movie.

It is one of those movies that cause you to really think about what is happening within the plot, and causes you to think long after you have left the cinema.

Now without ruining the story for those of you who have not seen it, the movie works along the guise that memories or even secrets can be extracted from someones mind while they are dreaming. As such they enter peoples dreams while they are in the sleep state for the purpose of extraction, company secrets, codes to safes, all of this sort of thing. (and really is this any different to hypnosis?). However the question is then asked, if we can extract information from someones mind while they are sleeping, could we perhaps insert an idea for it to manifest and grow of it's own volition?

I know for a fact that people will watch the movie and tell people it is a load of rubbish.... yet the more I look at it the more I realise that it is far more fact than fiction. Sure some of the scenes and ideas in the movie are a little outside of the realm (at least for now) of possibility, yet the theology behind the concept is being practiced by millions daily. Anyone that has had any dealings with personal development, life coaching, success coaching, watched 'the secret' or even attended a personal development seminar will know what I am referring too.

Within a simple goal setting session with any coach, or at any personal development seminar you are doing just as is suggested in the Movie Inception, the only difference is that you are not simply planting a seed to watch it grow, you are actively traveling through your own personal time line to a point in time where it (the goal) has already manifested the seed has already blossomed, you are then experiencing the feeling, smell, sights, sounds emotions of how things are when you realise this goal. You see when goal setting you set the goal as if it has already taken place, this, when done correctly, then causes the brain to function in congruency with that of someone who DOES, and indeed has taken all actions necessary for the completion of said goal.

If you have yet to see this movie then go, do not waste another minute, look past the Hollywood hype and just enjoy the ride you are taken on... if you have seen it, I am sure if you look at what I have said here in an impartial light you will be able to see what I mean... perhaps you already know? (with out any direct suggestion from me)

I cracked the Homebased Code for Success

Homebased success codeHello out there Andrew Hawkes here,

I want to let you in on a secret.... I cracked it,  I cracked the homebased business code for success! And the good thing is anyone can do it. Are you ready? Shh.... come a little closer.... here it is 'consistent action, congruent with your vision or why toward the direction of your goal.' That's it. Simple right?

So then if it is so simple why does 95% of the worlds population live week to week and hand to mouth existences. Well I am pretty sure I have worked that out too. I used to think that it was because people were afraid (to a point I still do, just not like before) however now after the last few days working with the very talented Casey Van Liefde and some of the things she shared with me. It is not about being scared, Casey is a very talented Photographer and she really is an entrepreneur, she is happy to look at something at its merit, make a decision about it and then act in total congruency with that decision. This means that Casey has already succeeded here.

So what I came up with and what made me think that it was more than just fear was this, Casey and I had a conversation, we were talking about an opportunity, a very cool opportunity, one that utilises two fortune 500 companies, so companies with a proven track record. For a ridiculously low investment per month (I mean the cost of a cup of coffee each week) they could create a substantial residual monthly income. The catch is that the people that get involved have to actually do some work. I know crazy. Now I have been involved in homebased business for quite a while now and they biggest issue any body had with the opportunity I represented was the investment price.... So here Casey is talking to me about a stupidly low (seriously it should be more for the value you are getting) investment each month, and people are telling her, or rather implying that it was all a bit like hard work. What?

OK, so from that conversation I came to the realisation that people aren't scared... people are just plain lazy, they would rather sit on the couch, drink beer, eat corn chips and stay living in lack than put a little effort in to make a huge difference in their life.

But I guess it is deeper than that right? Yes people are lazy, however there is more. People would rather sit back give direction and say I told you so than get in amongst it themselves, and it comes down to one thing, and this one thing is condoned and even practiced by society. Lack of responsibility. It is far easier (see LAZY) to blame someone else for their shitty existence. As I said though in my post about What is Wrong with the World when the government set such a low barrier, it really is easy to be average, or even below average.

So here in summary, the homebased business code for success is pretty simple, follow it (with out detouring from the prescribed method) and you will have astounding success and that is with anything, homebased business, real estate trading, investing ANYTHING.

So what are you waiting for, stop BEing lazy, get off your a*se, stop blaming others for your short comings and become part of the solution as opposed to the problem.
