Yes personal acceptance is really important. When you start to accept your personality and love it in the present, even though it may not be exactly what you want forever, your mind will start to change and you won't be so hard on yourself. Imagine how our lives would be if everyone gave themselves a break and just accepted the way they were at any given moment.

Yes, that's the golden word in my life goad. Personal acceptance and what your goals are. Once you reach those goals one should be happy with it. I remember growing up thinking if only I had this or had that than I would be happy and ask for nothing more. As the years went by the list kept climbing as I check it off. Now I realized happiness is not in what I can attain but what I do with the success I've gained. It has been a long journey and still is.

Hey I didn't see this post until today, my GR is running slow for some reason.
Personal Acceptance is something I personally struggled with and I think on somedays I still do. I had to commit to my own Personal Development to work through this, and I am still committed to it. I did find that there were some people who I was around that definitely influenced how I felt about myself but I have learned how to deal with that, and them :-)
great post!
cheers
