This is the first I've heard of a "BP oil spill." It doesn't affect my life at all. I only heard about it just now and hearing about it isn't likely to have any impact on my life either. I agree with your post though. It doesn't matter what it is. If spaggles are going extinct and that bothers you, then take responsibility. If you want to be rich, then take personal responsibility. If you want to life forever or visit the moon, then take personal responsibility and make it happen. It is completely pointless to whine about anything or anybody else. And that's true even if this BP oil spill directly affects you. If your swimming pool is full of oil, then take responsibility and deal with it. If you don't want the environment destroyed by oil spills, then take personal responsibility and make your life independent of oil. It is possible... all of it... making your life independent of oil, visiting the moon, getting rich... all of it has been done and you can do it too. But not by whining about other things and other people.
