Knowledge

Extract from “The Evolution of Physics” (1938) by Albert Einstein

"Physical concepts are free creations of the human mind, and are not, however it may seem, uniquely determined by the external world. In our endeavor to understand reality we are somewhat like a man trying to understand the mechanism of a closed watch. He sees the face and the moving hands, even hears its ticking, but he has no way of opening the case. If he is ingenious he may form some picture of a mechanism which could be responsible for all the things he observes, but he may never be quite sure his picture is the only one which could explain his observations. He will never be able to compare his picture with the real mechanism and he cannot even imagine the possibility or the meaning of such a comparison. But he certainly believes that, as his knowledge increases, his picture of reality will become simpler and simpler and will explain a wider and wider range of his sensuous impressions. He may also believe in the existence of the ideal limit of knowledge and that it is approached by the human mind. He may call this ideal limit the objective truth."

Researching Internet marketing online is one method which can be used for learning more about this topic. This type of research can be very informative and can provide the business owner with a great deal of advice and other information. However, it can also provide the business owner with a great deal of misinformation. When researching any subject online it is very important to note that not all of the information available online is accurate. This may be due to a variety of factors including content which is written by those who do not have a great deal of knowledge about the subject matter as well as content which was written years ago and is outdated. This can be frustrating but fortunately business owners can still learn from the Internet. This just means they should be more cautious about accepting information as being accurate and may wish to verify the information they obtain before implementing an Internet marketing strategy.

Published books are another valuable resource for learning more about Internet marketing. There are a variety of books available which focus on this subject and provide a wealth of useful information. When selecting a book for use as research material it is important to seek out a book which received independent reviews which were positive. It is also important to seek out books which were published recently. This is important because the Internet marketing industry is evolving continuously and a book that was published only a few years ago may be outdated and may lack information on some of the new developments in the industry. The appeal of using published books to learn about Internet marketing is you can keep the books on hand for easy reference when you launch your Internet marketing campaign.

Finally business owners can learn a great deal about Internet marketing simply by studying successful Internet marketing campaigns. If your business offers products and services in a particular niche consider entering relevant terms in popular search engines and studying the websites of some of the highest ranking businesses. This can provide you with a great deal of insight into what these business owners are doing which may be contributing to their success. Examining everything from their website design to their search engine optimization strategies and even the content on their website can help you to determine why they are more successful than you. You should also consider how they are marketing their website which may include banner ads, affiliate marketing programs or other types of advertising. Armed with this information you can take the opportunity to implement changes to your own website and marketing strategy which may help you to gain a greater degree of success. Care should be taken to not copy anything directly from your competitors but to rather try to emulate their degree of success in your own way.

Family……Are they really looking out for you?

    Posted in General    |

 Wow, that is a funny title.

 It wasn't what I was going to write but it what came to my mind when I put in a title, so lets see where it goes, I am going to write through source. e.g. what ever comes out.

 So family, they mean well right? Or do they? How many times have you been all jazzed up about something only to have the flames of your passion extinguished by your well meaning family? Now don't get me wrong, I love my family and I would do anything for them, really. Yet, sometimes, in fact more often than not they let you know exactly what they are thinking, and more often than not, it is not what you want, or more to the point what you need to hear.

 I mean you were fired up, ready to go and tackle giants, yet one word from your family, or perhaps your most admired friends, and you loose all hope, and start to second guess yourself, OMG that is the WORST thing you could do!

 Let's look further though...why would they say something like that......do they have some knowledge on the subject that you don't? I would hazard a guess that no, in most, if not all cases they do not have a clue what you are talking about, yet they feel qualified to comment. Hmm...... something to ponder perhaps.

 So why? Look at it this way, and it is the most likely explanation, so if you can get this then you will have the tools to get passed what ever blockage your family or friends are ever likely to put in your path. All you have to do is remember this;

 When you decide that you are going to step outside of the normal, i.e. try something new and untested, you then force your family and friends to push the boundary conditions of their thinking, therefore making them uncomfortable. And let's face it, no one likes to be uncomfortable. Because of this fact, it is their natural reaction to retract, by doing that they cling on to the past, and in the past you are reliant on them

So looking at it like this you may start to understand that it is their way of trying to maintain control of the situation. Imposing their "rules" upon the situation.

 So just know that when your 'well meaning' friends and family offer their opinion, you don't have to accept it, and also realise that it is because you are now challenging their beliefs and comfort zone. At the end of the day all that matters is that you follow YOUR heart, at the end of the day it's your decision to make.

 Let me leave you with this,

Regrets for the things you have done can be tempered by time, it is the regret for things you have not that are inconsolable.

Living at the Cause rather than Effect

    Posted in Uncategorized    |

Well, its been a few days hasn't it?!

My apologies for this. It is really very sad that there has been no updates in the last week as there has been so many things going on and so many new insights.

We have been to Sydney in the last few days to See John Lavenia, he was there for his Bridging the Gap: Knowledge to Wisdom seminar and also to promote his new Book 'Integrity is Everything', which of course is now available for sale here.

It was of course great to catch up with John and other like minded people, people who are living at the cause, rather than the effect of life.

So really that's what I wanted to touch on with this post.

What does it mean to live at the cause of your circumstances rather than the effect?

In essence it is living with the understanding of why you are where you are in life and whether or not you have the ability, or more accurately the belief that you have the power to change your outcome, any outcome.

I was speaking with someone I consider to be a very good friend yesterday, she is a woman who knows what it takes to succeed. Lets call her Jill.

Yet when I spoke to her yesterday Jill was living at the effect of her circumstances. Meaning that she was letting them get the better of her. At the start of our conversation all Jill could tell me about was everything that was going wrong, and how people didn't understand, and everyone was saying this and that, and like chicken little the sky was falling.

Now having been down a similar path before in life I was not about to stand by and let a Woman who knew to be successful feed me the dribble she was feeding me. We had a great conversation and it was not long before Jill was starting to see the positive in the things she had in her life, like her family, I know they mean the world to her, yet they were over looked as a positive. Again we come back to getting what you focus on. Like energy attracts like energy.

It was not long before I was talking to the Jill that I knew the tenacious victor who does not stop until she has succeeded! And of course that is success, never giving up, obviously the only people who truly fail in life are the ones who quit!

So how does all this tie in I hear you say, well it is very simple, when we live at the cause of our circumstances we can then change them, now I am not saying that just by changing our thought process that things will instantaneously snap to how you think they should be, well actually yes I am. The reason I say this is because change happens in an instant, that is when you DECIDE. Because with the change of thought you allow new possibilities to arise that you would never have seen while you were living in the effect of your circumstances.

I guess another way of looking at it would be when you are living at the cause you are living in the end result, much in the same way you are when you are BEing. You see they all tie in together. And again these are not new principles or philosophies, they have been around since the dawn of time. It is the Human condition that enslaves us to live life at the effect of our circumstances, unfortunately it is only a handful of people that truly understand this and let go and have the faith in the universe to move forward with life and let them have what ever it is that they truly desire. We always get what we ask for, it just may not show up in the package we expect it to. So in there lies a message also, be careful what you wish for, you just may get it.

Now I mentioned Faith in that last sentence, and I just want to touch on the opposite of faith, which of course is FEAR. FEAR is the biggest hindrance to progress in the world, we have all heard the term 'oh once bitten twice shy' and of course for the bulk of the population of this planet, yes the masses, this is exactly how the live, and this is part of the Human condition. Now there are many ANAGRAM for FEAR the one I want to look at however is this, False Evidence Appearing Real. The reason this false evidence will appear real to you is because you hear things from your parents or your best friend or your partner like, 'Oh so and so tried that and it didn't work' and more often than not, it is not that it didn't work, its 99.9% of the time that 'so and so' didn't work. They stopped, or they didn't follow the system. what ever the point is that when there is a proven system that works and someone doesn't have the desired results, its because that someone obviously didn't want it bad enough, or would rather live life at the effect and blame someone else and live below the line. And I guess the biggest reason is because you go looking for why it will fail, again, you get what you focus on. John Lavenia touched on this on a conference call the other day, he said and I quote;

"You never here anyone say, 'Oh that is to bad to be true' only every 'It must be too good to be true'"

It's the human condition, its who we have been brought up to be. We can change it!

Yes I think differently to most, and I am so incredibly thankful for that every day I am a live, and to be honest I am alive because of the fact. If I thought like the masses then given some of my circumstances or when I may have been living at the effect of, I could have happily ended things, and if for nothing else but the fact that I DO think differently I am still here.

So again it all comes down to choices, we all have the choice to live a the cause of our circumstances and live a life by design.

Or

you can live at the effect of our circumstances and continue to blame everybody else for how shitty and miserable your life has become.

Now this quote has been posted here before, however I want you all to read it and really let it sink in, really;

"All that we are, is a result of what we have thought.

The mind is Everything.

What we think, we become".

Buddha

That's about all I have for this post, I do look forward to reading some of your replies, feel free to post them here rather than emailing them to me.

Make it a great night!
